Seeta Nominated for an Olivier Award in 2024 Patel's The Rite of Spring is a reimagining of Igor Stravinsky's iconic ballet in the Bharatanatyam dance style, developed with an extended cast of 10-12 dancers and full orchestra in a major collaboration with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

Mimi’s Shebeen

A short teaser I made for the production Mimi’s Shebeen nominated in the Best Dance Production category at the 2026 Olivier Awards.

Mimi's Shebeen blends dance, live music and spoken word in a piece of theatre that's no straightforward biodrama but draws on Makeba's history, particularly her story of exile: after moving to New York in 1959 Makeba was barred from South Africa for 30 years because of her anti-apartheid stance.

Used To Be Blonde is an immersive, hour-long contemporary dance piece choreographed by Sharon Eyal for the National Youth Dance Company (NYDC). It features a massive ensemble of 41 young dancers moving in hyper-mechanical, pulsating unison to a driving techno and house score by Ori Lichtik.
